Easy Steps in the Halal Compliance Certification Process:
1. Enquiry and application form (available in website:
www.halal-australia.com.au).
2. Applicant supply labelling information with a list of all raw materials, ingredients and additives, process flow chart plus floor diagram for each product to be certified Halal.
3. Application is acknowledged.
4. Review of application and feedback to the client.
5. Site inspection visit and assessment report (an hourly rate during visit plus mileage, taxi, hire car, airfare and other expenses such as accommodation, where applicable, at cost applies regardless of outcome of the Inspection report).
6. Applicant may be required to submit a Halal program. Halal Australia assists to develop a program.
7. Cost of Accreditation.
Charge may vary depending on business nature and type, assessing a risk category from Halal and quality point of view, amount of work involved, assist in development of a Halal QA program, frequency of inspection visits and on-going support system required.
8. Signing a mutual agreement including business, intellectual property and product confidentiality.
9. Award of Annual Halal Accreditation or Compliance Certification and its ongoing support to approved clients.
